The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is the must-see natural site in the Japanese Alps.
Using buses, cable cars or trolleybuses depending on the altitude (between 550 and 2,450 meters above sea level) one can enjoy the varied, marvelous and breathtaking landscapes from spring to autumn.
In spring, one can be awed when walking between the famous snow walls of Yuki no Otani, which are as tall as six-story buildings.
